Alex Winstanley is an award-winning social entrepreneur and published author. Over a decade of experience as a teacher and personal assistant to disabled people, led to him co-founding a disabled people’s-led social enterprise, Happy Smiles CIC.
Since 2019, the team has positively impacted over 25,000 people, provided more than 50 disabled people with long-term employment opportunities and worked with global brands such as Levi’s.
Having ADHD himself, Alex is proud that his books are currently supporting children, families and professionals around the world to start conversations around inclusion, disability and diverse representation.
