With over 25 years of experience in the public sector, specialising in education, Louise Brown is an accomplished leader who has held numerous senior roles, overseeing a diverse range of projects, departments and areas. Her professional qualifications span Human Resources, Business, and Organisational Development, and she holds a Master’s Degree in HR and Organisational Development. Louise is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a qualified Performance Coach with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and a member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists. In recognition of her leadership, she was honoured with the prestigious Leader of the Year Award at the Greater Manchester Good Employment Awards in 2023.

In addition to her expertise in HR, Leadership, and Organisational Development Louise has developed as a thought leader for organisational culture and engagement and promoting the business and employee benefits of engagement strategies and wellbeing in the workplace.  Louise has also successfully led several significant capital building projects with multimillion-pound budgets. She has managed complex relationships with contractors and consultants, including architects and government bodies, to ensure the successful delivery of these projects.

A passionate advocate for the transformative power of Further Education (FE), Louise’s own life and leadership journey is a testament to its profound impact. She firmly believes that everyone can achieve their potential if given the right opportunities and has a remarkable ability to identify and nurture this potential in others.

Louise is also personally committed to community engagement and frequently participates in fundraising initiatives for both local and national charities. A dedicated runner, she finds the outdoors to be a source of inspiration, often generating some of her best ideas during her runs. With an impressive personal best of under one hour for a 10k, she is always setting new challenges for herself.

In addition to her professional and charitable endeavours, Louise is an avid lover of the outdoors. She has scaled numerous Wainwright fells and enjoys hiking in the Lake District, where she has also explored kayaking. Accompanied by her rescue Staffy, Ralph, who has slowed down a little in recent years, Louise continues to embrace an active and adventurous lifestyle.

A frequent visitor to Greece, Louise has explored many of its stunning islands. Inspired by the culture, she has undertaken the challenge of learning conversational Greek, delighting in speaking the language when ordering a beer or settling the bill. Her passion for Greek philosophy further enriches her thinking and creative pursuits and her own theories of Leadership.
